The Driving Test Application
There are two ways that you can apply for a driving test. You may apply through the Internet by clicking on this link or you can retrieve the application form for the driving test in your local Garda office, tax office or library.
Remember that you will have to wait for some time before you can sit through the driving test. It is common for applicants to wait for around six to eight weeks depending on the area before actually sitting through a driving test. Also, while you may communicate the area which you want to be tested at, you may not get that specific area. To help you pass your driving test, once you know the definite schedule of your driving test, schedule a pre-test promptly so that you are assured of available slots. Finally, cancellations are not unheard of and it may also be that the date of your driving test is a lot sooner than the one that you expected.
